Tonight I designed a new interface for zoopa’s homesite. What do you say? Is this telling everything you need at first look?

As a former greaco-roman wrestler, this one made me laugh for hours.

Fizy is an innovation, a startup that I carefully watch from birth, till today. In this short time period Fizy had great success.
It’s time to realise something. Well I can find whatever I’m looking for right now. Fizy searches all the web for me and brings me the best videomusic results. Thats for sure. (I can even find forgotten Turkish songs.) But I think it’s time to get a little more social isnt it?. Right now you can connect your Fizy account to facebook, twitter and friendfeed. All your friends can see what are you listening right now. But it’s not enough. Fizy has to open it’s doors to mashups and business partnerships with other players (maybe smaller and niche ones) of the market to keep growing up. I mean social networks. For example; Posterous could be a nice startup to work with. It’s fastest growing snowball. Tumblr’s same again. I can see that Playlist.com is successfully using music addiction on it’s index. Let your users to create something & give’em a chance to be popular. It’ll work. ;)Also, it could be nice to be able to place some Fizy widgets around. Blogs’s are getting more popular everyday. After some feature suggestions, I have to admit that Fizy’s success in this short time isnt a miracle. There’s a huge technology & investment behind the curtain. Their algorithm they’re working on makes Fizy more popular everyday. Their technology is so popular around that’s why we’ve heard Google acquisition things about Fizy. I was thinking about Jon’s sweetcron for a while. You know it’s a simple lifestream engine made by Jon Yongfook Cockle. Recently I’ve heard that he stopped it’s development cuz of his own business focus.
Since I left the mambo / joomla community before 3-4 years, I was thinking about releasing an open source product.Nowadays I’m modeling smt in my mind. An open source software which’s only for lifestream. After you install it in your domain, it posts your data to all social networks (facebook, posterous, tumblr, friendfeed, flickr, youtube etc.) and fetchs all your data from them. Analytics integration, comments, multi user usage, posting via web interface and posting via email. I’m still working on it and before I start to build the community. I’m open for programming contribution to the project. I prefer php, mysql for it. What do you say?Posted via email from Sinan Ata | Comment »
